In 2001, 4 years into her 11 year career as an airline pilot, Kim was diagnosed with MS, which forced her to take a mandatory hiatus from flying. During this break from her airline career, she pursued and completed STOTT PILATES® instructor certification. Over the course of the next decade, she added additional instructor certifications in BASI Pilates® and Yamuna Body Rolling. She is also trained in YogaFit® and Jaya Yoga.

WENDY
Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Arts/Dance from Sonoma State University. Formerly the director and co-founder of the San Francisco Jazz Dance Company and has studied in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco where she trained in jazz, ballet, and modern dance. Her teaching career spans over 30 years including mass, ballet, choreography and Floor Barre®. She is a BASI Pilates® certified instructor. Email: Wendy@navipilates.com

In 2004 Kristy's doctor advised her to strengthen her abdominal muscles to relieve severe lower back pain. She began taking Pilates classes and within 12 months her pain was completely gone and she fell in love with Pilates. Kristy completed her BASI Pilates® instructor certification in 2009 and enjoys sharing her love fore Pilates by teaching part time.

JANAE
Janae has been practicing Pilates and yoga for 14 years. In 2010 she was introduced to the Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair) and learned the benefits of combining both the equipment workout along with the traditional mat work. She has been teaching yoga since 2007 and Pilates since 2011. She completed her Pilates comprehensive teacher training through Body Arts and Science International (BASI Pilates®) in 2012.

Meghan, originally from Lusby, Maryland is a Polestar Pilates instructor, focusing on Pilates for rehabilitation and physical therapy. She discovered Pilates through dance, and experienced first hand the benefits of a Pilates practice post injury. She thoroughly enjoys helping people discover the value of Pilates in their own bodies, and helping them return to activities and an increased quality of life.
Since beginning her career as a Pilates instructor in 2009, Meghan has worked with clients with a wide variety of pathologies and needs, including scoliosis, spine/hip/knee issues, chronic pain, neuropathy, post op, pre/post pregnancy, as well as athletes and dancers. She values continuing education within her field, and strives to take classes and workshops through both Polestar's continuing education courses, as well as the Pilates Method Alliance throughout the year. A professional dancer outside the studio, Meghan also enjoys reading, crocheting, spending time with her husband, and exploring her new home here in the greater Seattle area.
